Meet at the Colombo International Airport to take your flight to Vietnam. Your flight will depart Colombo early morning.

Day 01

Hanoi

Arrival at Noi Bai International airport, the guide and driver will be welcome and transfer you to hotel. After a short rest leave for the dinner

Your welcome dinner will be at an authentic local restaurant.

Day 02

Hanoi

One-Pillar Pagoda

After having breakfast at hotel, pay a visit to the Complex of Ho Chi Minh (Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, his house-on-stilts and fish pond, and the One-Pillar Pagoda). Then, visit Tran Quoc pagoda the oldest Buddhist temple in Hanoi, located on a small island near the southeastern shore of West Lake. Lunch at local restaurant.

After lunchtime, visit Temple of Literature- the temple of Confucius and also Vietnam’s first national university from 11st century. Visit Hoa Lo Prison Museum, nicknamed the ‘Hanoi Hilton’ by US prisoners of war during the American War. Most exhibits relate to the prison’s use up to the mid-1950s, focusing on the Vietnamese struggle for independence from France. There are also displays focusing on the American pilots who were incarcerated at Hoa Lo during the American War. Enjoy a panoramic green car tour (35 minutes) around the Old Quarter Area.

For the last part of day, enjoy a show of Water Puppetry, a unique stage art created by the Vietnamese peasants.

Day 03

Hanoi / Halong Bay

Breakfast at hotel.
This morning, journey through picturesque rice-farming villages of the Red River Delta to Halong Bay, a World Heritage with thousands of limestone and Dolomite Island and islets.

Upon arrival, embark a junk for cruising through the Bay, visit its breathtaking seascape created by rocky islands and emerald serene water, with stopovers to discover grottoes inside islands. You will have chance to hike up steps in caves (Surprise Cave or Maze Cave – depend on the cruise liner), relax, go swimming or take part in some beach activities in Titop island. Lunch and dinner served on board.

Day 04

Halong Bay / Da Nang

Ha Long Bay

The Vietnamese call the “East Sea” by a point-oriented name “Eastern Sea”, so you may guess how miraculous seeing the sunrise over the islets of the Bay. Our boat will continue to cruise in marvelous areas, where almost each islet has its own name, adopting its shape or reminiscent like Sail Island, Fisherman’s head rock, Butterfly rock or Turtle islet, etc. (depend on the cruise liner). Brunch on board. Disembark the boat and transfer back to Hanoi via the new high-way (2.5 hours’ drive). Transfer to airport for the flight to Da Nang.

Arriving in Da Nang after 1 hour 20 minutes flight, welcomed by the local guide and airport and transfer to check in hotel.

Day 05

Da Nang

Have breakfast at hotel, then transfer to Ba Na Hills and take Cable Car which gains 5 world scores to Ba Na Hills station, visit Vong Nguyet hills, Linh Ung pagoda, The Old Villas of French and the Golden Bridge… Experience hill climbing train (first and unique funicular in Vietnam) and visit an old French cellar (Debay Ancient Wine Cellar), flower garden Le Jardin D’amour and Linh Ung Pagoda.
Have lunch at restaurant.

Afternoon: Free for joining games in Fantasy Park – the third biggest indoor games zone in Vietnam with series of interesting games: 4 – 5D film, skiver, the death race, Dinosaur Park… (2 hours).

Around 15:00 drive back to Danang. Visit Cham Museum and local market.
Have dinner at local restaurant.

Day 06

Da Nang / Saigon

Reunification Palace

After breakfast, check out of the hotel. Get transferred to Da Nang airport for morning flight to Saigon Upon arrival in Tan Son Nhat airport, our guide and driver will welcome and transfer to hotel to leave luggage.
After that, enjoy lunch at a local restaurant and begin our tour of this exciting city with the neo-Romanesque Notre dame Cathedral and the Central Post Office. Then take a visit to the Reunification Palace, formerly the Independence Palace of the South Vietnamese president. This 60s style was famously stormed by tanks on April 30, 1975 signifying the fall of South Vietnam. It has been preserved in its original state, and the original tanks remain on display near the entrance gates. Continue to the harrowing War Remnants Museum, which comprehensively documents the travails of the long Vietnam – American War. Inside are detailed photographic exhibitions; outside is a collection of tanks, planes and weapons. A powerful experience, this museum is guaranteed to provoke strong emotions. Lastly, we will drop by the cavernous Ben Thanh market – a bustling market in the daytime and a social center after sunset.
Evening enjoy dinner on the cruise on Saigon river.

Day 07

Saigon

After breakfast at hotel, our guide and driver will pick you up to Cu Chi Tunnels, one of the few remaining monuments to the Vietnam War. Beneath the ground lie 200 km of tunnels, dug by hand and inhabited by the forces of the Vietnamese guerillas during the conflict. At its peak, prior to the Tet Offensive in 1968, the tunnel complex was base to almost 10,000 troops. To this day, it remains one of the most impressive examples of how fierce the war used to be.

Return to Saigon and head to District 5, explore Thien Hau pagoda and China Town (Binh Tay market; Quan Am pagoda; Herb Street)

Today is at leisure for sightseeing around by your own or shopping at the city center until we transfer back to the airport for your departure flight.
