Day 1
Colombo – Galle

After your arrival in Colombo, you will make a quick drive to the south to the historic city of Galle, exploring its imposing fort, quaint alleyways and art galleries. Walk on the majestic the ramparts that overlook the beautiful city of Galle, St. Mary’s Cathedral and the world famous cricket grounds. Later, you will get the opportunity to visit an amazing tea plantation, which produces virgin white tea that will treat your tastebuds with the authentic taste of Sri Lanka.
Day 2
Galle – Unawatuna

This day is going to be nothing but sun, sea and sand. As one of the most beloved tourist destinations in Sri Lanka, Unwatuna is home to a breathtaking banana-shaped beach of golden sand and turquoise water, surrounded by green palm trees! All you have to do is rest, relax and maybe enjoy some aquatic adventure sports while basking in the warmth of the sun all day.
Day 3
Habarana – Pinnawela – Dambulla

Following a comforting breakfast in Galle/ Unawatuna, you will leave to explore the cultural triangle of Sri Lanka,
The Cultural Triangle extends across a diverse climatic range from the central highlands’ tangled green hills to the plains of the hot, scrub-covered dry zone. It is home to the sacred city of Polonnaruwa, Sigiriya
and Dambulla — all UNESCO Heritage Sites. The Cultural Triangle will give you a glimpse of the wonders of ancient Ceylon.
On your way, you will make a stop at one of the most endearing locations in Sri Lanka, the Pinnawela Elephant Orphanage. This shelter is dedicated to nourish and safeguard abandoned elephants from around the country. At the orphanage you will have the opportunity not just to witness the majesty of over hundred Asian elephants but also to feed and interact with them. After bidding farewell to the orphanage, you will be guided to the Rock Cave temple of Dambulla that is home to vivid frescoes that date back to over 2,000 years. This will be the first, but certainly not the last chance you get to experience the wonders of ancient Sri Lanka.
Day 4
Habarana – Sigiriya

After a hearty breakfast, you will be lead towards experiencing a wonder like no other – the Sigiriya Rock Fortress. Claimed as one of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites, the Sigiriya Rock Fortress rises some 600 feet from the scrub jungle below. It is one of the best-preserved examples of ancient city planning found anywhere in the world that is adorned with unique frescoes and breathtaking architecture. Following the rock climb, you will get the opportunity to explore the Sigiriya Village on a Bullock Cart and conclude the day with a rejuvenating herbal massage or an Ayurvedic treatment.
Day 5
Habarana – Polonnaruwa – Kandy

From Habarana, you will make overland to Polonnaruwa, to explore the ancient city’s palaces, monasteries and monuments.
After breathing in the wonders of the ancient city, you will depart on a journey to the hill country of Sri Lanka, stopping at the Matale Spice Garden on the way. While in Kandy, you will get to witness a wonderful Kandyan cultural dance show which will give you a glimpse of the unique culture the hills of Sri Lanka has to offer, while spending the remainder of the day in relaxation.
Day 6
Kandy

Explore Peradeniya’s Royal Botanical Gardens, drive around Kandy Lake, visit the bazaar, gem museum and lapidary. In the evening, visit the Temple of the Tooth Relic during evening prayer services.
Day 7
Kandy – Colombo

You will return to Colombo on the next day and explore the corners of the financial capital of Sri Lanka via a historic walking tour with a Colombo Native. You will be lead to experience the energy and excitement of the Pettah Bazaar, and visit the Old Dutch Museum.
Day 8
Colombo

From there, you will transfer to the airport and board your departure flight.
