Anuradhapura is a sacred city of Sri Lanka, now in picturesque ruins, now a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The fascinating ancient ruins include huge bell shaped Stupas, temples, sculptures, palaces and ancient drinking water reservoirs. There is much to see at Anuradhapura.
